Home, Imagined
Interiors Imagined with AI to Inspire Your Real Home
An idea, a vision, a space yet to be.
Imagined with AI, Curated by Anil Clifford
About the Book
What if every room in your home could become something extraordinary?
Home, Imagined takes seven of the most important rooms in a home — the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and four more — and renders each one through six distinct design languages.
The result is 42 original interiors, each imagined with artificial intelligence and curated by hand. Not a catalogue of products. Not a renovation guide. A visual companion — something to sit with, return to, and draw from when you are deciding what your home could become.
Every design decision in every image was made by a human. The AI rendered the vision. The curation determined what was worth keeping.
A Note on Creating with AI
In architecture and interior design, software has long been used to visualise spaces that don't yet exist — renderings of buildings not yet built, rooms not yet furnished. AI extends this further. It doesn't just render a brief; it becomes a thinking partner in the ideation itself, surfacing possibilities that weren't in the original prompt, combinations that a human eye might not have reached alone.
Home, Imagined began as an exploration of that partnership. Not AI replacing the designer, but AI expanding what a designer can consider. The 42 interiors in this book are not plans to be built — they are ideas to think with. Some may inspire a renovation. Others may simply change how you see a room you already have.
This is what thinking with AI looks like: not automation, but amplification. A tool for imagining what didn't exist before — and asking whether it should.
Seven Rooms
The Six Styles
Japandi
Japan · Scandinavia
The meeting point of Japanese wabi-sabi and Scandinavian minimalism. Natural materials, muted palettes, and the quiet beauty of imperfection.
Coastal
Atlantic · Mediterranean
Light-washed and open. Bleached timber, linen, sea glass, and the unhurried calm of rooms that breathe with natural light.
Industrial Loft
New York · Berlin
Raw materials in their most honest form. Exposed brick, rolled steel, aged leather — a room that improves over decades, not seasons.
Modern Classic
Europe · Global
Proportion, symmetry, and restraint. The principles of classical design interpreted for contemporary living — timeless without being stiff.
Maximalist
Global
Considered abundance. Rich colour, layered pattern, and curated objects that tell a story. Nothing is accidental; everything earns its place.
Modern Mediterranean
Greece · Spain · Southern France
Limewashed plaster, deep blues, terracotta, and the warmth of natural stone — the sun-drenched vernacular of southern Europe made contemporary.
